The Green Investment Declaration - A Church Investor's Perspective
Thu 3 Oct 2024 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM BST
Online, Zoom
Description
Following its launch in June 2024, the Green Investment Declaration has attracted signatories from across a number of faith traditions, from the Quakers in Britain and the Methodist Church to dioceses and religious orders.
If you are interested in finding out more about how your Church or faith organisation can tackle the climate crisis through its investments, we would love you to join us.
By becoming a signatory, your organisation will not only have a direct impact through increasing the level of your investments in green initiatives but, through speaking publicly about it, you’ll also create ripples throughout wider church and society, encouraging others to do likewise.
The hour-long webinar welcomes Matthew Jones from Epworth Investment Management to give a church investor’s perspective on climate investing along with Catherine Devitt of FaithInvest, Rosie Venner from JustMoney Movement and Clare Fussell, Operation Noah.
Thursday 3 October, 3.00 pm on Zoom.
About the Green Investment Declaration
The Green Investment Declaration aims to support Churches and other faith institutions to increase their investment in climate solutions, and also to encourage others to do the same by communicating this publicly.
