Introduction to Willow Weaving
Friday 14th November 2025, 7.30pm – 9.00pm
Willow weaving is one of the oldest crafts in the world and can be traced back over 4500 years. After a short introduction and demonstration, it's your chance to have a go at making simple willow items in the relaxed and cosy setting of the yurt.
You will be able to make several of the following:
- Stars – hanging stars, star wands or mini bunting
- Hearts / simple angels
- Coasters
All materials provided. Max 8 people. Over 12's only.
£20 for willow workshop with a free drink and Danish pastry included.
Choose from wine, mulled wine, spiced berry toddy, tea or coffee.
The Green Place bar / café will also be open for further hot and cold drinks, bottled beer and wines.
Doors open from 7pm. Please arrive by 7.15pm.
