Sunday Writing Sessions: 8 November

Hey there writer! Join me (Anna Dempsey) at SET Social in Peckham for an afternoon of guided writing, fun prompts and sharing words aloud in a welcoming community.

This month our theme is ‘Dusk' which means we'll be getting inspiration from other people's windows, the poetry of Maggie Dietz and Yellow Wallpaper by Charlotte Perkins Gilman.

This is a generative workshop (meaning we will be creating new material) that's designed to *spark* your creativity and give you a place to put words to the page. The hope is that you'll walk away with a new poem or idea for a short story (or hell, a novel!). Doesn't matter if you're an experienced writer, just beginning or picking it back up from childhood...all are welcome!

What to expect:

• Writing prompts/time to write
• Coffee, tea, snacks for purchase at the SET bar
• A super supportive environment for sharing work...we always clap!
• Guidance from an experienced writing instructor
• Connection with fellow writers
• An accessible venue

All writing abilities welcome! Simply bring your own notebook and pen!

If you need a computer/tablet for accessibility that is very welcome.
