The Grove Christmas Social

The Grove Community Hub is pleased to invite you to our first annual free Christmas Social! 

We are inviting local people to The Grove on Thursday 19th December, from 12.00 - 2.00pm to enjoy an afternoon of food, festive entertainment and socialising!

Join us for a festive gathering for individuals who are perhaps experiencing loneliness or social isolation during the holiday season. The event aims to provide a warm, inclusive and welcoming environment where attendees can enjoy a delicious Christmas meal, engage in fun activities and connect with others. 

• 3-Course Christmas dinner:
  
  • Prawn Cocktail or Tomato Soup with Crusty Bread (v)
  • Christmas Dinner with all the trimmings, season veg & Roast Potatoes or Nut Roast (v)
  • Christmas Pudding with Brandy Sauce or Chocolate Gateau 
  • Tea / Coffee with Mince Pies 
• Light entertainment 
• Festive Activities & Games
• Free transport for anyone living in the LE3 1 area 
• Great opportunity to socialise 
• Support from friendly staff and volunteers

The event is for those living in the Braunstone area, with our target audience being: 

• Older adults
• Individuals living alone 
• People with disabilities 
• Anyone experiencing social isolation

There are limited spaces available and booking closes on Friday 6th December...
