The Grove Easter Holiday Scheme

The Grove Community Hub's Holiday Scheme, in partnership with Braunstone Community Primary School, is back for the Easter Holidays; offering 4 full days of fun activities for children aged 6-15 years!! 

The scheme will run from Monday 14th April to Thursday 17th April 2025; starting at 9am and finishing at 3pm. Once again, all children who attend will be offered breakfast and lunch. 

You will have the choice of booking your child onto:

• Football and Multi-Sport Camp, where activities include:
  • Football - tournament, skills and games
  • Multi-Sports
  • Gaming 
  • Pool / Table Top Football
  • Basketball 
  • NERF 
• Dance and Arts & Crafts Camp, where activities include:
  • Street Dance
  • Arts and crafts workshops
  • Fun games
  • Gaming 
  • NERF
• Additional to the above, all children from both camps will be able to do the following (depending on days attended):
  • Additional workshops / activities delivered on and off site 
  • Cook-and-Eat Workshops

Free Places for those on 'Benefit-Related' Free School Meals - administered by the Leicester City Council

We have free places available to those on benefit-related free school meals, through the Holiday Activities and Food programme. Please note that this is benefit-related free school meals and NOT the universal free school meals that all children get up to year 3. Please note priority will also be given to those living in the City or attending City Schools. For more information on benefit-related free school meals (i.e. if you feel you are eligible and would like to apply) please click here.

Your application for a place will not be confirmed until the Leicester City Council have checked your child's eligibility; we will notify you once this is confirmed.

Please also note, for the free spaces, you can only book your child on for ALL 4 DAYS and NOT individual days.

All children who are eligible for a free space will receive a free breakfast and lunch on each day of the scheme they attend.

Low-Cost Paid Places (For anyone else NOT eligible for a Free Place)

We also have a limited amount of low-cost paid places for those families with children who do not fit the free place criteria. As we are a community organisation, we have tried to keep our costs as low as possible compared to other private holiday scheme providers (which is becoming more difficult due to rising costs). All proceeds from paid places are reinvested back into future schemes and community projects. 

• £15.00 per child, per day

The above cost includes a full day (6 hours) of activities, as well as breakfast and lunch for ALL children and any additional workshops, trips or activities.

You are able to book either on to individual days, or for the full 4-days.

Places are limited and once gone, we can't guarantee any more will become available; so book early to avoid disappointment!

When you book you will only be able to book one child on at a time due to the way the ticketing system works - if you have any issues / problems with this please let us know.
