Now in its 17th year, The Heritage Alliance's annual Heritage Debate brings the sector together to share insights, make connections and find solutions to the key challenges facing heritage today.
This year, we ask:
How can heritage stay relevant today?
Heritage Debate 2026 will be a national conversation about the role of heritage in public life. This online discussion with a panel of experts from across the sector will explore how well we understand what people want from heritage today, how we can connect with them in a more relevant and engaging way, and what's at risk if we don't. Whether you work in heritage, are studying, volunteer, or simply have an interest in heritage and its contribution to society, you're warmly invited to join the conversation. With thanks to Ecclesiastical Insurance, attendance is free for all.
