Keith Britten will open the discussion with an accessible introduction to AI. You’ve heard the buzz—but what does it really mean, and why it matters to readers and writers?

He will be joined by leading literary agent Jonathan Lloyd and author Julianne Pachico for a thought-provoking discussion on how AI is reshaping publishing. From authorship, creativity, copyright and careers, they’ll explore what’s at stake for the next chapter of the world of books.

Jonathan is the President of Curtis Brown - a major Literary and Talent agency founded in 1899. He joined from HarperCollins where he was MD of Adult Trade Publishing. He represents a number of best-selling fiction authors and a range of nonfiction clients including well-known autobiographers, politicians and celebrities. Jonathan was President of the AAA (Association of Authors’ Agents) from 1999 to 2002 and was voted Agent of the Year at the British Book Industry Awards in 2009.

Julianne was born in Cambridge, England and grew up in Cali, Colombia. Her latest novel, Jungle House, concerns a young woman raised in the jungle by an AI house. Julianne teaches at the University of East Anglia and is a graduate of the MA Prose Fiction programme
