At a time when many churches are under threat, she reminds us why they remain among England's greatest cultural treasures.

Rachel is a building conservator, Director of the Friends of Friendless Churches, former Chair of the Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings, and a Fellow of the Society of Antiquaries.
