Student Tours are a great way for prospective members to learn more about a career at the Bar and have the opportunity to see the Inn and talk with the Inn's Outreach Coordinator.

During the tour you will see the Ashworth Centre, MCR restaurant and Bar, the Great Hall, the Chapel, the Library, and the grounds*. Student Tours are for potential members of the Inn and not the general public. They will cover information relating to becoming a Barrister and give you the opportunity to ask any questions about scholarships, the career and study opportunities. Student Tours are not for current members of the Inn; as a member you are welcome to use the Inn's facilities as you wish or book a guided or self guided tour.

We can accommodate up to 10 people per tour so as not to disturb members and staff using the Inn’s facilities. All attendees must book a ticket on the tour. Each tour lasts for approximately forty-five minutes. Please be aware that part of the tour is outside and dress accordingly.

When you arrive at the Inn please meet on the East Terrace (outside the MCR Restaurant & Bar). A map can be found below. If you are uncertain where to go please enquire at the Gatehouse.

Please allow plenty of time to find us; If you are more than 10 minutes late for your tour your booking will no longer be eligible and you will have to book for another time. If you are unable to attend your booked tour for any reason please let the Inn know as soon as possible by emailing outreach@lincolnsinn.org.uk or (if it is on the day) calling Reception on 0207 405 1393.
