This is an online course. You can participate from anywhere you have an internet connection.
Most people don't need a clinical herbalist education. They need to know what to make at 10pm when someone is sick, how to get a child to actually take it, and when to call a doctor instead. Kitchen Herbalism for Families gives you all three — built around the real household: children, adults, elders, and yes, pets too.
Every week you will make hands-on preparations with supplies we send you — teas, glycerites, syrups, and gummies — using kitchen tools and pantry supplies you already own. Nothing expensive, nothing specialized. Just a practical toolkit you can reach for with confidence, and a clear framework for when home care is the right call and when it isn't.
What will you make?
Each week you will build formulas in real time using kitchen tools and pantry supplies you already own — nothing expensive, nothing specialized. Over the course of three weeks, you will make teas, glycerites, syrups, and herbal gummies: preparations that are simple enough to complete quickly, palatable enough that the people you are making them for will actually take them, and effective even when someone is already run down. On top of that, we will be sending you the materials to make these!
Who is this course for?
This course is built around the full household. Children who refuse anything that tastes like medicine. Adults who haven't fully bounced back in months. Elders managing multiple health considerations. Even pets — dogs and cats have a short list of safe herbal options and a longer list of things you should never give them, and you will learn both. Every preparation in this course has been chosen with the whole household in mind.
What you will leave with
By the end of week three, you will have a solid kitchen herbalist toolkit you can reach for with confidence — along with a clear framework for when home care is the right call, when to adjust what isn't working, and when to step back and get someone to a provider instead. That last part matters as much as everything else.
