This course covers botanical support for the full emotional landscape of family life — anxiety, burnout, grief, loss, postpartum mood, and childhood behavioral challenges. Nervines and adaptogens are among the most-requested topics in family herbalism, and among the most consistently underserved in herbal education.

What This Course Covers

Topics include:

  • Nervines and adaptogens: what they are, how they work, and when to use each
  • Anxiety and stress across age groups
  • Burnout: recognizing it and addressing it botanically
  • Grief and loss: realistic expectations for what plant medicine can and cannot do
  • Postpartum mood: support and when to refer
  • Childhood behavioral challenges: herbs, scope of practice, and family context
  • Drug interactions specific to psychiatric medications
