The Comedy Hypnosis is Amazing Show at DreamHaus

The Comedy Hypnosis is Amazing Show with Colin Chapman is a live comedy show in Richmond, Virginia that combines standup comedy, crowd work and real comedy hypnosis for one unforgettable night at DreamHaus!

Coming to **DreamHaus in Richmond, VA on Friday, October 16, 2026**, comedian and hypnotist **Colin Chapman** brings his unique live show to Richmond for a night where the audience doesn’t just watch the comedy — they can become part of it.

The show starts with **standup comedy and crowd work**, as Colin gets to know the room and has some fun with the audience. Then things take a turn.

Volunteers who genuinely want to experience hypnosis are invited onstage, Colin hypnotizes them, and the comedy gets even more unpredictable.

This isn’t a magic show.

Because unlike magic, hypnosis is real!

It isn’t a traditional stage hypnosis show where people spend the night pretending to be chickens.

The Comedy Hypnosis is Amazing Show is comedy show first. Hypnosis is just used to escalate the laughter.

Colin uses real hypnosis as another way to create spontaneous, completely unpredictable comedy. Every audience is different. Every group of volunteers is different. That means every performance becomes its own show.

If you’re looking for things to do in Richmond, VA, a live comedy show in Richmond, standup comedy, crowd work, comedy hypnosis, or simply something completely different for a Friday night, this is it.
