David Calamari marks his return to the stage with Souvenirs.
A magical performance that promises to show everyone why he fell in love with magic in the first place.
For the past several years, David Calamari’s work has primarily happened behind the scenes. As a scenic designer, fabricator, and illusion consultant, he has built scenery and consulted for Off-Broadway’s Asi Wind’s Inner Circle and served as the assistant illusion designer for Broadway’s Death Becomes Her.
After years working backstage, David is once again stepping in front of the curtain – returning to the stage to remember why he fell in love with magic in the first place at just three years old.
Souvenirs is a show born from that return. Exploring the quiet intersections of time, memory, and the physical keepsakes we carry with us, it’s an invitation to gather in a room with strangers, share a few stories, and experience something fleeting together – before it fades away.
