An Immersive Summer Gathering

It's time to gather back around the In Good Company table!

Join us on Wednesday, 4th June, for another soul-stirring IGC evening that's all about good food, good surroundings and, of course, good company.

We're always in awe of the magic that unfolds when bringing together more than 100 incredible Sheffield women under The Mowbray's beautiful roof for these one-of-a-kind socials, which make space for free-flowing chat, culinary indulgence and all-out feel-good vibes.

Best of all, they effortlessly spark conversations and affinities between like-minded Sheffield women without the formalities, pressure or awkwardness associated with traditional group events.

A relaxed panel conversation adds a unique element to the proceedings when we hear the inspiring stories and honest opinions of three fascinating women from the city and wider Yorkshire area. We've also continued to invite a collective of talented Sheffield creatives to bring their skills to the IGC table to help enrich the evening and create the perfect ambience for our unique and uplifting events.

So, whether you're an IGC OG or a fresh newbie to our socials, we'd love you to be a part of the magic by joining us for our upcoming Summer Supper Club event. The Venue

Our In Good Company event will take place at the architecturally stunning Sheffield venue that is, The Mowbray. Located in the Kelham Island area of the city, this unique venue dates back to 1889 and has been thoughtfully restored to create a style-led urban space that sings with simplicity and splendour.

The Mowbray's seasonally-inspired mixologists and chefs will be serving up a specially designed welcome cocktail and two-course grazing-style feast for us to devour during the evening.

The Panellists & Partners

A key element of the evening is a relaxed panel conversation with a mix of caring, ambitious and gifted women who are proud to call Sheffield and wider Yorkshire area home. During this open, podcast-style chat, our panellists will share their thoughts on navigating life from a woman's point of view, touching on career, priorities, boundaries and family life as well as what 'in good company' means to them.

So far, IGC panellists have included marvels such as spoken word poet & BBC Radio Sheffield presenter Sile Sibanda, GP and passionate menopause health specialist Dr Lindsey Thomas, Team GB athlete and Commonwealth Games champion Annie Last, and Reverend and the Makers band member and tour manager, Laura McClure. 

To add to In Good Company's immersive experience and neighbourly vibe, we invite a number of Sheffield creatives to contribute their talents to the evening too.

Who It's For

All women who want to be part of a warm, uplifting and inspiring evening that provides time to feel your true selves, chat freely and easily mix with like-minded others. Come alone, or plan to attend with a friend; either way, you’ll be made to feel instantly at home and leave with your cup having been filled!

Order Of The Evening

6.30pm - Warm welcome & arrival drink

7.30pm - Your seat at the table

7.45pm - Dinner is served

9pm - Panel conversation

10.30pm - Evening comes to a close
