The Inkwell Theatre and Drama Group gang are very excited to welcome you to see a hilarious new comedy.
Antique dealer, Andrew Coulter is a widower, believing he lives a fine life with his ancient, rascal of a father and his cool dude, aspiring musician of a son. His daughter, Daphne, however, views his life quite differently, seeing only domestic chaos everywhere. Set in 1960’s Ireland, the solution, not so PC in today’s world, is crystal clear to her. He needs to find a new wife fast to restore domestic order! His no-nonsense, sister- in- law, Harriet, however, taking a jaundiced view of this, is determined he stay a widower. An outrageous bet that he finds a wife in a week, lands poor Andy in a mess of his own making as he soon discovers Cupid’s arrow can hit surprising targets!! If not love in the air, there will certainly be bundles of fun in the Inkwell Drama Group’s production of Sam Cree’s hilarious comedy “Cupid Wore Skirts.”
