Practical Strategies for Supporting Participants with Multiple and Interconnected Barriers to Employment

Many participants face multiple and overlapping barriers that can impact their employment journey. This practical program explores how to effectively support individuals experiencing complex challenges through person-centred, strengths-based approaches.

Designed for professionals working across Workforce Australia, Inclusive Employment Australia (IEA), Transition to Work (TtW), NDIS employment services, social enterprises, and community programs, participants will gain practical strategies to:

• Understand complex and overlapping barriers
• Build trust and meaningful participant relationships
• Strengthen engagement and motivation
• Navigate challenging situations with confidence
• Support sustainable employment outcomes

The program includes pre-learning, two live online workshops, a reflection activity, course resources, and an IEP Certificate of Completion.
