On the occasion of the exhibition of artists and the collection of The Invisible Dog at Hashimoto Contemporary, Lucien Zayan, Director of The Invisible Dog and Chef at SAM, invites you to a Sunday brunch at La Salle A Manger (SAM) to enjoy new recipes surrounded by The Invisible Dog's art collection.
Lucien will prepare a special vegetarian menu featuring some of his favorites (subject to change depending on the market and his mood):
- Vichyssoise, the famous French leek and potato potage
- Citrus salad, celebrating the end of citrus season
- Magadara, an Egyptian rice and lentil dish with caramelized onions
- Multi-bean stew with fennel and other delights
- Dessert to be confirmed: creamy rice pudding, deconstructed lemon tart, or a bounty of chouquettes with chantilly
Guests are seated at a large communal table for 12. If you come alone, you won't stay lonely—this is an opportunity to meet new friends. Each seating lasts approximately 90 minutes. Please be punctual. After your seating, we ask that you vacate your seat, though you're welcome to linger in the living room and enjoy the art collection.
The event is held in Boerum Hill, Brooklyn, 100 feet from Bergen Street stop on F or G trains.
The exact address will be sent to you after booking, 24h before the event.
