Meet the Course Lead
Michael is a founder and long-term leader of creative industries businesses specialising in experiential and sponsorship marketing. His past ventures include Beatwax, psLIVE and MKTG – a joint venture with Dentsu which he guided to become an award-winning marketing organisation with offices in 20 countries. To add to his qualifications to lead this course, Michael is Non-Executive Director of Space and People PLC - a major supplier to the Brand Experience industry, and he was Chair of Judges for Campaign Experience Awards 2026, his eighth year on the jury. As a practitioner of considerable experience Michael has commandeered a US Navy Aircraft Carrier to host a floating superhero training academy to launch the X-Men franchise, flown a hot air balloon through the raised drawbridges of Tower Bridge for Disney, frozen a Nissan Cube in a 6 tonne block of ice and led the agencies behind international experiential work for Coca-Cola, Adidas, Cadbury Mondelez and many others.
