Ferns Summer Archaeology Camp

Join Dig it Kids for a morning of archaeological fun and discovery!

Learn the skills of an archaeologist, uncover artefacts and learn how to identify them.

Meet real archaeologists as they Discover Medieval Ferns at the archaeological excavations being undertaken by the Irish Archaeology Field School this summer.

The camp is running every day from Monday 3rd July to Friday 7th July at St Mogue's Cottage, Ferns. The camp is free*, so to allow as many children as possible to participate, children can only attend for one day.

• Times: 9.30am - 2pm
• Ages: 6 - 12 years
• Max number per day: 18 children
• What to bring: wear old clothes, but keep an eye on the weather and dress appropriately for outdoor activities. Watch out for rain and sunburn in particular. Bring a snack and a drink.
