Hello friends! We at The Jeremy Brett Sherlock Holmes Podcast are proud to bring you an event that has been a long time in the making. On April 24th 1984, Granada and ITV released the first episode of what became the definitive adaptation of Sherlock Holmes, starring the iconic Jeremy Brett. A series that still to this day is beloved by many around the world, with an actor who commands so many devoted followers. Thanks to the enduring popularity of the series and to our listeners (who are as fanatical about the show as us), we present Brettcon 2024: the 40th Anniversary Celebration. We are delighted to be able to bring you a day long event to celebrate this milestone anniversary, bringing cast, crew and fans together to mark this special occasion. Featuring Q&A Panels, meet and greets, exclusive merchandise, memorabilia and a one off special screening of The Blue Carbuncle! All profits from this event will be given to Mind UK, in the name of Jeremy Brett.

The event will be taking place at The Mayhew Theatre within Guildford County School in Guildford, a 10 minute walk from Guildford town centre, and well within reaching distance of local amenities. Address and transport details can be found further down this page.
We will announce all special guests as they are confirmed, as well as confirm the Q&A Panels and meet and greet opportunities including some special photo ops, which will be put on sale when confirmed. Please note that all guests attending our event are subject to their working commitments and health, and because of this guests can cancel their appearance.

How to get here:
By Car: The school is situated just outside the Guildford city centre, and is best accessed via the A3(M). Using sat navs, the above address should take you straight to the site. There is a limited amount of parking on site, about 37 spaces, but there is on road parking in the roads surrounding the school, as well as local car parks in the centre of Guildford which is a small walk away.
By Train: Guildford train station is approximately a 10 minute walk away, and can be reached via twice hourly trains from Waterloo station if coming from London.
By Bus: The Farnham Road Hospital stop is situated metres from the main reception as is serviced by number 8, 18, 46 and 65 bus.
By Bike: Whether you’ve got Palmer tyres with longitudinal stripes or Dunlop’s with a patch on the outer cover, just follow to the cattle tracks across the moors.
By Hansom Cab: Unfortunately, these stopped running early last century and will be unable to be accessed. Please look for an alternative mode of transport.

** VIP tickets will include the following: priority seating (first few rows) to all Q&A panels with unreserved seating, priority seating to the screening behind all invited guests with unreserved seating, free merchandise and one special photo op free TBD.
** Tickets are non-refundable except in the case that the event is cancelled completely.
** Some speakers may charge additional fees for autographs or photos (not included with admission).
