It's been a while in the making but we're proud to announce our first ceilidh and run combo in collaboration with Good Time Running Club.
Premise is simple: warm up with a 5k run led by GTRC and then barrel straight into a night of ceilidh dancing to help raise funds for Tiny Changes.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
18.30 - Run meets outside The Wee Red Bar (bag drop available)
18.45 - Run starts
19.30 - Ceilidh starts
22.00 - Ceilidh ends
The run is free and the ceilidh will be ticketed. Both are optional - You can join for both or just the run or just the dancing.
All profits will be donated to Tiny Changes - Scotland's first youth mental health charity.
CEILIDH
The Jig Show are the liveliest ceilidh band in town bringing their own, hard-rocking take on trad music to their ceilidh sets.
First time at a ceilidh? Do not fear. The band will talk you through every step, you'll be a master by the end of the night!
THE RUN
GTRC is a fantastic Edinburgh run club that is available to everyone, whether you're taking your first steps into running or training hard for that elusive PB. Inclusive and welcoming with a strong community spirit.

EAR PROTECTION
We are keen supporters of both live music and protecting your hearing. Unfortunately, most gigs are at a volume that can damage your hearing, thus wearing ear plugs is important. We usually have free foam ones to give out at the ticket desk when we play. They are safe but don't necessarily sound great. If you attend gigs regularly, we recommend purchasing a reusable set that are designed to sound good at the same time as protecting your ears ('ACS Pacato 19 Earplugs ' at £15 are an affordable start...).
