TLG - Golden Anniversary Short Course - Rosaline Perle with Judith Cordell

Rosaline Perle designs have seen a rise in popularity over recent years. More and more patterns are appearing in recently published books. I design modern pieces taking inspiration from antique Rosaline, by exploring the use of traditional motifs found in this lace.

The fine floral work can be worked on a larger scale. The techniques are the same, just easier on the eyes in thicker threads.

If you are new to Rosaline Perle, during the short course you can expect to work the Rose motif seen in all traditional pieces of Rosaline. Including the needle lace perlé that sits in the centre of the Rose giving it texture and character.

For improvers there will be the opportunity to work patterns that build on the skills you have already learnt.
