Fifi Colston - World of WearableArts - Illustrated Artist Talk

Fifi Colston is a multiple award winning designer in the internationally acclaimed World of WearableArt Show, hosted in Wellington, New Zealand.

In 2001-2002 she lived and worked in Bristol and volunteered at the Bristol Scrap Store, along with making connections with local artists and schools. Since returning to New Zealand, she has been busy for the past 23 years as an award-winning junior fiction writer and children’s book illustrator of more than 50 published titles for trade and education. She also works in the TV, film and theatre industry making costume and props both to camera and behind the scenes.

Fifi is very active visiting schools and community groups, inspiring budding artists and writers through workshops in creative process and she is utterly delighted to revisit Bristol and share her work with you, in particular her 30th finalist piece in this year’s World of WearableArt ‘Rise’ Award Show.
