The Laundry Brixton is heading into the woods. In partnership with Browning Bros, this one-off dining experience brings fire-cooked feasting to an unforgettable woodland setting just an hour from London.
For Melanie Brown, chef, sommelier, and founder of The Laundry Brixton, great food starts with great ingredients. Mel has spent years perfecting flavour, how to find it, refine it, and showcase it at its best. Now, she’s bringing that expertise beyond Brixton, trading the kitchen pass for open flames and curating a four-course feast to be shared under the trees. Expect the service of a great restaurant, the freedom of the wild, and a meal you won’t forget.
Brought together by a shared love of seasonality, sustainability, and bringing people together, The Laundry Brixton and Browning Bros are cooking up something epic. Set on a fifth-generation, family-run organic farm, this is your chance to step away from the everyday, pull up a chair, and enjoy an exceptional restaurant experience in an extraordinary setting.
The Experience:
Step into the wild with a seasonal cocktail in hand, pausing for canapés and conversation in a quiet woodland glade before taking your seat at your table.
A four-course feasting menu, cooked over an open fire and served to you in a woodland setting.
A carefully curated wine list, with bottles chosen to complement bold, flame-kissed flavours.
Dining under the trees of Teybrook Orchard at Browning Bros. Don’t worry, if it rains, we’ll have you covered.
Arrive for 6 pm for dinner, 12 pm for lunch, with service beginning shortly after.
Glamping accommodation is available on-site, for those who want to stay a little longer in nature.

Please note
If you have any dietary requirements, please contact us in advance so we can see what’s possible. Whilst we can accommodate most requests, we can’t guarantee due to the nature of where we are based.
All tickets are non-refundable. However, if you can no longer attend, you may organise to transfer them to someone and let us know.
Accommodation
If you'd rather not rush off, extend your evening with an overnight stay in one of Browning Bros’ dreamy glamping spots. Set in the same 20-acre woodland, it’s just a short wander from your table to your bed.
Guests dining with us on Friday or Saturday night can book one-night glamping stays, including breakfast the next morning cooked by us and served in the woods.

Parking is available on-site. The nearest train station is Marks Tey, with direct links from London Liverpool Street and Stratford. Taxis can be arranged in advance or booked via Uber, which is roughly a 5- 10-minute drive.

Children at The Wild Table
Our pop-up restaurant in the woods is aimed primarily at adults and we want to ensure every guest can relax and enjoy the moment. We do believe children should be able to experience the joy of dining outdoors and connecting with nature.
Our lunch sittings are slightly more family-friendly, and we’re very happy to welcome older children to join you under the trees.
Evening services are 18+ to preserve the atmosphere of a slower, more grown-up gathering.
If you’re booking for lunch:
- Teenagers are welcome to dine from the main menu. Simply book them a regular ticket via the Ticket Tailor link, and we’ll swap their welcome drink for a non-alcoholic option.
- Children aged 5–13 are welcome to join your table free of charge. We’ll offer them a simple, fire-grilled toasted sandwich with a small salad for £10 per child, payable ahead of the event.
- Due to the setting and style of service, we don’t recommend bringing children under 5.
Please drop us a line when you book to let us know how many older children will be joining. We kindly ask that families remain mindful of the woodland setting and the experience of fellow diners throughout the lunch service.
