Come down to the LBA Young Hoopers! Whether you are a boy or a girl you need to get real game experience in order to grow as a player. At this weekly session, you'll be able to experience real game scenarios and learn how to make the right decisions on the court.

Each session will have a different theme to help support players’ growth. As we cover topics such as fast break, defense, the lines and spots of the court etc.

Our research shows us that if you do this consistently for 9 months you'll improve your game exponentially, as you develop skills such as:

• Confidence

• Skill development

• Higher basketball IQ

• Basketball concept building

• Video analysis

• Teamwork

• Games

• Basketball networking (exposure to future opportunities)

Coach: Professional Coaches & Referees

Day: Every Saturday*

Duration: 13 weeks (7th September - 14th December)

Break: 2 weeks (26th October - 2nd November)

Time*: 

Ages 8-11: 9:50 AM - 11:10 AM

Ages 12-15 years old: 11:10 AM - 12:50 PM 

Location: St Augustine's Sports Centre, Oxford Road, London, NW6 5AW

Gender: Mixed

Eligibility: Kids that have some sort of Basketball skill set, they enjoy Basketball and want to get better.

NOTE: Young Hoopers has now separated the age categories. This to increase the number of children we can involve along with doubling the level of attention our coaches can give to each age group. There will be a certain number of slots for each age category, along with Drop-in sessions for parents who are interested but are not yet ready to commit to the term package. Depending on the ability, your child may be moved to a different age group.

Connect with the coaches at the session about this as they will support you in making a decision about signing up for the term.

We want to work with a cohort, developing the kids and giving them opportunities to compete against other organisations, through friendly games and tournaments.

While we endeavour to provide a safe and structured environment during the session, it is imperative to acknowledge that our duty of care extends solely to the duration of the session itself. Once the session concludes and participants depart the premises, The London Basketball Association and affiliated personnel are no longer liable for the well-being, supervision, or actions of your child.
