The LBA is back with the Survivor Series . For the first time we will be running a women's edition
The LBA will be running a 5x5 format. 30 players, making up 5 teams, will battle it out in a winner-stays-on format. The two teams with the most wins at the end of the day will face off to be crowned champions.
Can your team go the distance? Let’s find out.
Players: Please note that teams can be picked on the day, but it is each player’s responsibility to sign themselves up. If you want to play with your friends, make sure they sign up individually. Players who do not have their own ticket will be refused entry.
Spectators: Please note that you must have a ticket to enter, but spaces are limited. Tickets do not guarantee entry. Once capacity is reached, entry will be refused.

5x5 Survivor Series Rules
Here are official rules that we will be following. We will be adapting the rules aligned through general: FIBA
Below I will note down any rules you should pay attention to or that have been altered.
Seeding:
Length of game: 5 minutes
Running clock | last 10 seconds is stopping clock
Shot clocks will be in use. Refs will be encouraged to progress play.
No time outs
On a held ball. Possession arrows will be in effect
All games will begin with a tip off
NO OT If Tied, both teams off the next teams in rotation will play. The next game will begin with a tip off
Points are awarded as 1’s & 2’s.
First to 11
Free throws will be awarded | Clock will stop
There will be no player fouls, refs can carry out ejections/disqualifications if necessary
Team fouls will be effect | 5th team foul will result in 2 free-throws
5 players on the court, 6 on a team | Teams are fixed you can not swap players in and out | If a team is unable to continue they must withdraw
All players must wear the assigned Jerseys.
After each win up until 5, the team coming on will have a 1 point head start, then 2,3,4,5. This resets if the team loses.
Seeding:
The top 2 teams with the most wins qualify for the final
If there are more than 3 teams Tied, the two teams with the higher score count will go through
- Rules will remain the same
- The team with the higher win count will start with possession
- If Tied an overtime will be played, first to two points will win, it will be a tip off
- 10 minute Game | Last minute is stopping clock

Once the session concludes and participants depart the premises, The London Basketball Association and affiliated personnel are no longer liable for the well-being, supervision, or actions of your child or any other participants over the age of 18.

I am no longer able to attend what do I do?
Please inform the LBA as soon as possible via email. The LBA will be able to cancel the ticket and open up another slot
Are we allowed to enter on behalf of someone else:
No, all players must sign up with their unique ticket, any players that do not follow this will have their ticket cancelled
Are spectators allowed to watch?
Yes, you will need a ticket, spaces are limited. Please show up on time as tickets do not guarantee entry. Once the capacity is reached you will be turned away
Are players allowed to play in the higher age category if they are younger?
In general no, but if the LBA knows who you are and feels you can compete, we will consider it.
