Emma Langford puts a contemporary spin on the sound of Irish folk; her songs present a unique look at her country's folklore and history, bringing ancient stories into the present, and in so-doing, offering insight into some of life's universal truths. 

Her debut album Quiet Giant earned her the RTÉ Radio 1 Folk Award for Best Emerging Artist in 2018. From her second album Sowing Acorns, her ballad The Winding Way Down to Kells Bay and epic acapella anthem Birdsong both quickly climbed the charts, solidifying her place as a versatile and much sought-after singer-songwriter on the Irish and international music scene. 

Her live shows, dotted with folk tales and anecdotes, are praised as witty, engaging, and utterly enthralling and she has been often compared to Janis Ian, Joan Baez and Ani DiFranco not only in tone and lyricism, but for her uncompromising sense of self. 

Langford’s recent work sees her turn her focus to global issues, exploring animal cruelty, violence against women, and colonial violence in Hunting The Hare and Boys Will Be Boys. Her much anticipated forthcoming album is intended to be a clarion call, with strong central themes of social injustice, and of lesser-known women in history and mythology

D. McCabe is a Dublin-based songwriter who makes lush and melodic music. Rooted in classic songcraft but unconstrained by genre, his songs pair lyrical intimacy with gentle experimentation.

As both a solo artist and collaborator, he has shared stages with artists including Villagers, Pillow Queens and Pussy Riot. His debut release, The One They Couldn't Fix, was a personal song cycle refracted through hazy seaside psychedelia. It earned support from Lauren Laverne and Tony Clayton-Lea, who described it as "inventive, clever and musically deft." He is currently finishing his new album.

The Leap Collective

The Leap Collective is a community arts initiative founded by local musicians dedicated to promoting original live performance in Leixlip. Building on previous successes, including the monthly Blue Room Sessions and the sold-out 2025 Culture Night event at St. Mary’s Church, the collective is launching the Tiny Concerts series. This new format features intimate, carefully curated performances in small venues, prioritizing original material, atmosphere, and genuine connection between artist and audience. Enthusiastically hosted in partnership with local café Willow and Wild, the Tiny Concerts mark the beginning of a broader cultural vision, with further events already in development
