Wellbeing for Lawyers - The Sixth Annual Conference: Developing Effective Strategies That Really Work

Thu 26 Sep 2024 1:45 PM - 5:15 PM BST Online, Zoom

Following the huge success of the Wellbeing Work Alliance's five previous UK conferences on Lawyer Wellbeing and our National Lawyer Wellbeing Conference in the USA, this very practical online Annual Conference will be chaired once again by barrister and coach James Pereira QC who is supported by a high level panel of speakers drawn from a wide range of backgrounds.

The conference will appeal to all those within law firms, barristers chambers and in-house legal and HR departments who "get":

-the importance of managing wellbeing in their working environment

-how developing and applying the principles of wellbeing are not only essential in themselves but are also inextricably linked to profitability and productivity, and

-how putting wellbeing strategies in place can help with the attraction and retention of the very best people.

Delegates will take away with them an insight into the latest thinking on wellbeing in practice together with the tools they need to drive forward the development and enhancement of their own organisation's wellbeing policies and strategies. One of the most powerful ingredients of the previous conferences has been the speakers sharing their own personal stories but this conference is not just about identifying the problems, its also about advocating better working practices and presenting effective solutions

This online conference will be streamed live, direct to your desktop, tablet or smart phone anywhere in the world, so you can watch it from your office or home. You can participate in the conference live or watch the recorded version whenever you want. In each case you will receive a recording of the complete conference after the event.

The price for this is £249 + VAT. This is a per organisation price, so up to 20 of your colleagues can participate at no extra charge, even if they are viewing it from a different location or at a different time. So, of course, if there are 10 of you the cost per delegate would be just £24.90.

For law firms with four or less partners or individuals, you can purchase a single place at the conference for £99 + VAT

This important event is organised by The Legal Training Consultancy for The Wellbeing Work Alliance, which is a focal point in relation to all aspects of wellbeing for lawyers. This conference examines wellbeing in context and investigates how it interrelates with other core values within the complex organisations that law firms are. This includes such matters as: people management; client care; reputation management; teams and leadership; diversity and inclusion; compliance and competence and employers' legal responsibilities for the health of their staff

The programme has been completely revised, updated and enhanced
