Capital Gains Tax - Hot Topics and Perennial Problems: Recording
Wed 4 Dec 2024 2:00 PM - Wed 3 Dec 2025 5:15 PM GMT
Online, YouTube
Description
The 30 October UK budget outlines significant changes for Capital Gains Tax (CGT), aimed at addressing the budget deficit. Some key changes include a potential rise in CGT rates to align more closely with income tax brackets, which would result in rates as high as 45% on gains from assets like shares and property not classified as primary residences. This shift marks a significant increase from previous rates, where CGT was capped at 24% for residential property and 20% for other assets. The annual CGT exemption remains at £3,000, which was already a reduction from prior years, meaning that more gains will fall within the taxable range
Following on from our previous highly successful and popular tax conferences, this event covers an important range of topical issues and will be delivered by a panel of experts in this difficult area of work. They will guide you through the practical implications of the latest issues and new twists on perennial problems
This is three hour online conference with 7 x 25 minute sessions. It will be streamed live, direct to your desktop, tablet or phone, wherever you are in the world. You can either watch the conference live, or recorded to watch it whenever you want. In each case you will receive a recording of the complete conference after the event.
The price for this is £240 + VAT. This is a per organisation price, so up to 20 of your colleagues can participate completely free, even if they are viewing it from a different location or at a different time. So, of course, if there are 10 of you the cost per delegate would be just £24.00 each
For firms with four or less partners you can purchase a single place at the conference for £99 + VAT
