6th Annual Legal Costs Law and Practice Update. An Online Conference
Wed 7 Oct 2:00 PM - 5:15 PM
Legal costs continue to dominate post-litigation disputes, and the landscape is shifting fast — with key decisions and developments reshaping everything from proportionality to third-party funding.
Join us for this 5th Annual live online Legal Costs Conference, where leading experts will unpack the most pressing issues and emerging trends affecting litigation costs today.
This comprehensive half day online conference will take place on 7 October and will be streamed live, direct to your desktop so you can watch it live or recorded, from the comfort of your office or home.
The price for this is £249. This is a per organisation price, so up to 20 of your colleagues can participate at no extra charge, even if they are viewing it from a different location or time. So for example, if there are 10 of you the cost per delegate would be, of course, just £24.90. All those attending will receive a free video recording of the complete conference shortly after the event
There is a special price for small firms with 4 or fewer partners. A single place costs £99.00
This is very different to an ordinary recorded webinar or online course experience with one speaker. We have 7 speakers. With this live online conference, you will be able to participate with your colleagues as you want - either live, or in segments (perhaps viewing it a session at a time over several days/weeks) or on an on-demand, recorded basis. You will be able to take part by video or audio to see our panel of expert speakers cover the current hot topics from the comfort of your office or home.
Key topics covered:
Costs Budgeting in 2026: The New Pilot, Precedent Z and Budget Variations
Detailed Assessment in 2026: Hourly Rates, Proportionality and Recovering Budgeted Cost
Litigation Funding After PACCAR: Legislation, Regulation and Costs Risks

Solicitor–Client Costs: Retainers, Estimates, Bills and Challenges

1. Payment can be made by credit or debit card or alternatively by invoice. The option to pay by invoice is below the pay by card option in the booking form
2. If you don't have the complete list of who will be attending you can book for those that you know will be attending and add the others at a later date
3. Please ensure that, when booking, you get colleagues' email addresses entirely correct as failure to do so will probably mean that they will not receive joining instructions
