Leasehold Enfranchisement Update - Online Half-Day Conference
Wed 25 Nov 2020 9:40 AM - 1:00 PM GMT
Online, Zoom
Description
With the possibility of leasehold reform in this Parliament, this half day online conference covers a wide range of very topical issues in leasehold enfranchisement. It will be delivered by six speakers, all of whom are experts in this difficult and complex area of work. Each will present a 30 minute session on their specific topic and there will be ample time for questions. Topics range widely, from unlocking lockdown – enfranchisement procedure in the Covid-19 pandemic to the Law Commission’s report on valuation in enfranchisement and leasehold reform and the enfranchisement of mixed use premises plus a host of other essential topics topics (see below)
This online conference will be streamed live, direct to your desktop, tablet or smart phone so you can watch it from your office or home. The price for this is £210. This is a per organisation price, so up to 20 of your colleagues can participate at no extra charge, even if they are viewing it from a different location. So for example, if there are 10 of you the cost per delegate would be just £21.00. All those who book will receive a video recording of the complete conference shortly after the event
This is streets ahead of an ordinary passive webinar or online course experience with one or two speakers, which often gets very tedious in a very short time. We have 6 speakers. With this online conference, you will be able to participate with your colleagues as you want - either live, or in segments (perhaps viewing it a session at a time over several days/weeks) or on an on-demand, recorded basis. You will be able to take part by video or audio to watch or hear our panel of expert speakers cover the current hot topics, and answer or ask questions, from the comfort of your office or home.
(In the afternoon we will be holding a separate Residential Conveyancing Update half day conference. You can find the details here:

if you would like to attend both conferences, you can get a 50% discount off the price of the second conference by quoting "promo code" RC50 when you book that. Do bear in mind that you could participate live in one conference and watch the recorded version of the other)

An Online Conference?
We have now held many proper full day and half day online conferences and, as a concept it works very well, and sitting in front of a screen for a long time is not too big an ask for delegates. It has consistently worked extremely well, and is as far removed from the boring and dull old one hour webinar as it was possible to be. Comments we have received include:
"My unvoiced fear that it would be as dull as webinars used to be when I was in practice was banished fairly quickly"
"I thought that today went very well and glitch free"
"The conference seemed all to work well and top marks...[to The Legal Training Consultancy] ... for organising and persisting with it"
"Just a quick note to say that I thought today was excellent - Well done".
