Featuring Bubba Octane and the Fiddler - Country Fried Southern Swamp Americana

Corey “Hardware” Funai
Harmonica and Vocals

is a singer and harmonica virtuoso known for his gritty, soulful sound and his ability to weave the harmonica seamlessly into jazz, blues, classic country ballads and toe-tapping rock and roll anthems. Hailing from Palolo, Tennessee, fed a steady diet of fresh fish, with a mercury level he can tolerate,

Corey grew up surrounded by the rich sounds of music, but it was his love for the harmonica that truly set him apart. Corey has played with many talented musicians in Hawaii and opened for and or share the stage with musicians like John Mayall and the Blues Breakers, Taj Mahal, Johnny Winter, Johnny Lang, Clarence “Gatemouth” Brown, Mark Humel, and Eric Burdon of the Animals. He plays Hohner harmonicas and hard to get

Lisa “Sassy” Gomes
Fiddle and Vocals

Known for her high-powered, toe-tapping, barn-burnin bow work, Lisa has turned the heat up at many a backyard paina, family reunion, pig roast, and honky tonk within a 200-mile radius. She has fiddled and been featured with several country, rock, blues, bluegrass, Irish, Scottish, Cajun-Zydeco and Klezmer bands. She has also played at festivals in other parts of the U.S., Canada, and Europe. Lisa’s plays like whiskey in a tea cup, playing that fiddle so hard, you’d swear it was trying to escape her grip.

Marc “Picker” Pearlman
Guitar and Vocals

Raised on Bluegrass and bacon grease, Marc has performed more than 80 shows at Blue Note Hawaii with artists from NYC to Japan. A chicken pickin-freid fixture in the Hawaii music scene, he is known to "Butter Your Biscuits" with fire roasted, swamp injected, string seared guitar playing. Favorite musician quote: Jimi Hendrix, "Just play it like you mean it man".

Paul "Mojo Stix" Gomes
Drums and vocals

Mojo wasn’t born with a drumstick in his hand – he just found one under the porch while chasing after his cousin’s runaway pig, and the rest was history. Raised in the small town of Kickapoo, Kaui, Mojo grew up listening to country music so loud, it rattled the windows of the family trailer (and sometimes the neighbor’s windows too, but that’s another story). When asked about his inspirations, Mojo simply says: "I listen to the rhythm of the road, the sound of a pickup truck starting, and the occasional cat fight behind the barn.

Rick “Mr. Big” Schneider
Bass and Vocals

Born in the Deep South (of Brooklyn NY) Rick cut his musical teeth with the likes of Jimi Hendrix, Michael Bloomfield, Jerry Garcia, and the Ramones. Moving to the really Deep South (Hawaii is as south as you can get in the US) he became a fixture on the local music circuit with his vintage bass, tunefully caterwauling at the mic. When asked about his country music chops he replied “I had many a lovely call me a honky tonk cowboy in my day”
