Two venues, two bars, one gourmet chef, and four unique shows featuring four different artists, lined up every Saturday evening in one location at the Hawaii Kai Marina (next to Longs). Nestled within a world-class recording studio, our venues offer a unique music experience unlike anywhere else. Ticket holders can enhance & extend their evening or start early by purchasing a ticket for a second act! Begin in The Lounge and then make your way upstairs to our speakeasy, The Velvet Monkey, or the other way around. Additional tickets are available for purchase on our website.

ABE LAGRIMAS, JR. & JONNY LAM

Abe Lagrimas, Jr. - 'ukulele

Abe Lagrimas, Jr. is a musician, composer, educator, and author who plays the drums, vibraphone, and ukulele. He graduated from Berklee College of Music and competed in the highly prestigious Thelonious Monk International Jazz Drums Competition. Since then, he has worked with many different artists such as Kamasi Washington, Eric Marienthal, Michael Paulo, David Benoit, Eddie Henderson, Katisse Buckingham, Danny Janklow, Nick Mancini, Barbara Morrison, Michelle Coltrane, Jake Shimabukuro, and Kenny Endo. As a solo ukulele artist, Abe is a 2x Nā Hōkū Hanohano Award recipient and has released multiple of his own albums in the United States, Japan, and South Korea. As an educator, Abe is an ukulele instructor for the Fender Play teaching app, the Hawaii Youth Symphony, and is an integral part of Lõkahi: The Ukulele Collective, a non-profit that helps build ukulele music programs throughout Hawaii's schools. He is currently endorsed by Canopus Drums, Paiste Cymbals, Vic Firth Drumsticks, Beato Bags, Ohana Ukuleles, Analysis Plus Cables, Fusion Gig Bags, and Roswell Pro Audio. After a 15-year long stint in Los Angeles, CA, Abe has returned home and is currently based in Honolulu, HI.

Jonny Lam - guitar

Having spent many years playing in NYC and across the world, Jonny ended up in Honolulu, HI, inspired by the proximity to nature and culture. Dedicated to and known for always being in service to The Music, Jonny made his mark as a sensitive, technical musician with a mastery of touch and sounds. His resume includes being a member of the Atomic Bomb Band supergroup and working with artists such as; Busta Rhymes, David Byrne, Norah Jones, Miranda Lambert, Emmy Lou Harris, Sean Paul, Pharaoh Sanders, Kenny Chesney, Jeremy Zucker, Chelsea Cutler and more. Jonny is currently finishing several recordings under his own name, a Jazz/folk fusion record featuring Chinese melodies inspired by the memories of his grandmother’s singing, a steel guitar centric ambient music project, and hopes to get a dog.

His own band Honeyfingers was a NYC fixture and was described as “Pristine honky tonk” by the NY Times.
