We’re transforming First Street Market into an immersive tea lounge. Each event is a unique blend of performance and presence, with a rotating lineup of musical performances, DJs, and visuals, alongside artisanal teas (included with your ticket!) and gentle activities to support your flow between solo and social time, as it suits your intentions for the evening. 

This isn't your average concert. Steep'd is a carefully curated, immersive experience created to provide a meditative and magical space for those looking to:

• Enjoy a meaningful night out with loved ones & new connections
• Spend time journaling, reading, studying, or working on a creative project while still getting out of the house
• Meet new people in an easy-going environment designed to foster conversation and connection
• Experience a softer, more intentional alternative to nightlife

We're grateful to collaborate with so many amazing artists from the greater Boston community and beyond to offer one-of-a-kind ambient sets thoughtfully crafted for Steep’d.

• 8/1: Join us in celebrating the birthday of our A/V Lead, Andrew Ambrahamson (NXOR) , with a special lineup he curated—ambient dj sets by J. Bagist and Sound Shaman, live performance by TotoRobyn, and visuals by DebStep and VJ Zombie + Emma Lucille!

Details

There is a strict arrival window between 8:00 and 8:30 PM (new, summer hours), so we can collectively open and settle into the space. The evening concludes at 11:00 PM, but guests are welcome to transition out prior, should they wish. 

This is an 18+ event.

We have some games, art materials, yoga mats, and floor seating available, but encourage guests to bring any other supplies, projects, books, etc that will enhance your experience!

Pricing 

Our prices reflect the number of artists, production costs, and inclusive tea service (a $15+ value per person) that go into each event. We also prioritize maintaining an intimate, alcohol-free setting, which removes two of the main ways events generate revenue.

While we are taking a different approach to nightlife, we aim to stay comparable to a night out at a show with a drink or two — just without the extra transactions on-site & with more immersive elements. 

To keep events accessible, we offer a self-selected sliding scale, inviting guests to choose the rate that best fits their financial situation.  We also welcome volunteer exchanges for those who cannot afford a ticket and/or want to support in other ways.
