Tea Blending Workshop for Nervous System Support with UrbanRootsBotanica

The Ludo is grateful to host Desiree (Des) from UrbanRootsBotanica for a tea blending workshop focused on the nervous system.

Desiree Okoh (she/they) of UrbanRootsBotanica is an educator, multi-disciplinary artist, herbalist, and tarot reader who believes that wellness is rooted in community. Desiree is known for her intentionally crafted herbal formulations and compassionate and intuitive tarot readings that empower people to take aligned action. 

The workshop will open with breathwork and meditation practice by Lu (Founder + Director of The Ludo | RYT-200+, CWHC, MA Psychology & Spirituality Mind-Body), followed by an educational overview of the nervous system and herbs that support it from Des, with time for self-reflection and group shares before making a custom blend to take home!

All materials will be provided, including herbs, a kraft bag for storage, a personalized label with your personalized tea ingredients, a reusable muslin bag for steeping, and paper/writing utensils for journaling and notetaking. Feel free to bring a personal notebook if perfered. 

The event will run for approximately two hours, with time at the end to chat and connect with Des and the other attendees over tea and ambient tunes.

Please plan to arrive between 7 and 7:15 PM, as the workshop will begin promptly after the arrival window.

This is an 18+ event. Young adults may be permitted to attend with a parent or guardian by special request.
