The Lymington Society was formed in 1968 with the aim of helping to preserve and protect the town and area of Lymington and its aims were set out at the time. A Civic Society for all wishing to protect the character of our historic town.

• To ensure new development is in keeping
• To encourage the maintenance and improvement of civic amenities
• To provide a forum where residents can express views on such subjects publicly
