Songs that sit between doubt and hope

Dean Frost is an Essex-based indie-folk artist who for years couldn’t even confidently play covers at open mics. A breakthrough came in 2022 with the writing of Fresh Start, giving him hope, but the fear of recording and releasing music remained. It wasn’t until the turn of 2025 that he began recording, leading to his debut EP, Two Minds, which draws directly from that journey and explores moments of doubt, hope, and the small victories that come with facing your fears.

Blending intricate acoustic guitar with reflective lyricism, Frost’s songs balance vulnerability with warmth and connection, whether performed solo or with a full band. Written between 2022–2024, Two Minds captures his evolution as both a person and a musician.
