Silent Movie Night - Charlie Chaplin's The Gold Rush

Jonathan Eyre is one of today’s prominent liturgical organists. Equally at home performing classical or popular genres, literature of the church or theatre, he is very much in demand accompanying silent films.  Tonights film Charlie Chaplin's The Gold Rush.

He has done extensive silent film accompaniment throughout the UK. A frequent performer for the Cinema Organ Society, he has also performed for Penistone Cinema Organ Trust, BBC Radio, and is one of the resident organists at the Regent Street Cinema. Jonathan is Professor of Organ and was until recently Organist of the Old Royal Naval College, Greenwich and Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance
