The Hinsdale Public Library, 60521
Description
Join us to learn how and when to respond to cardiac and breathing emergencies. This course will follow American Heart Association guidelines to teach the life saving skills of CPR for infant and children, teach what to do if an infant or child is choking, and provide you an opportunity to get lots of hands on practice on a mannequin in a small group with a certified CPR instructor. This class will cover both infants AND children in the same class, no need to sign up for two separate classes!
This class is perfect for expecting parents, parents with toddlers/older children that could use a refresher, nannies, grandparents, and other caregivers.
Classes are 90 minutes and the price is per couple (can be a partner, friend, nanny, grandparent, etc.)
This is not a CPR certification class.
Classes will be held at the Hinsdale Public Library in the Board Room on the main level.
