FC United Half Term Football Sessions
FC United of Manchester and The Manchester College are delighted to announce half term football sessions taking place at the home FC United.
Timings of the day:

Time: 09:45- 12:00
What Students Can Expect
- Football sessions lead by former premier league footballer & lead coach of our sports course, Adam Le Fondre.
- Play on the facilities of FC United & learn from the sessions that Adam Le Fondre will run on the day.
- See a taster of the sessions that will take place on our 26/27 football programme level 3 football course.
- Opportunity to speak to lead coaches and educators regarding any questions about the football programme and pathway.
- A chance to meet current students and hear about current experiences & opportunities on the course
What will students need:
- Students will be required to bring own refreshments for the day such as water,
- Students will be required to bring suitable footwear for grass but also astroturf,
- Students will be required to dress appropriate for football matches, such as shinpads.
About the course for 2026/2027
The Academy will offer the NCFE Level 3 Diploma in Sport & Physical Activity, delivered over two academic years. The qualification is designed for young people aged 16–18 who want to build a future in football—whether as players, coaches, analysts or within the wider sports and health industries.
Students will study and train at Broadhurst Park Stadium, gaining access to high‑quality facilities, expert coaching and a performance environment shaped by the values of both organisations: opportunity, inclusion, ambition and community.
