Boys in Performing Arts
Join us for a full day of dance and musical theatre, hosted by The Manchester College, which includes a masterclass hosted by our own industry experts. The aim of this event is to support boys and male identifyers in finding their passion and future pathway within the performing arts.
This fun and energetic event offers boys and male identifying young people in year 7 to 11 at school to try their hand at dance and musical theatre. Whether you've got some experience or you're just looking to test the waters with a new interest, this your opportunity to learn new skills in an enjoyable and safe environment.

- Jazz dance technique
What to bring
Appropriate dance clothing if you have this available, however joggers and a t-shirt will be just as good. Please make sure you're wearing socks and clean trainers or jazz shoes for use in the studio. Whatever you wear, be sure that it's comfortable clothing that you're able to move in!
Please also bring a packed lunch with you as our canteen will be closed on the day.
Other important information
Parents/carers are unable to stay on campus during the event but are welcome to drop you off in the morning and collect you at the end of the day.
If the event takes place during your school term time, your school is welcome to bring you along with staff a member, or you may ask your school's permission to attend and we will provide confirmation of attendance should they require this.
