We are honoured to welcome Natalie Haynes back to the Bash, as she drops in for an event mid-way through the national tour for her brand-new book No Friend to This House — an extraordinary reimagining of the myth of Medea. 

Natalie is a beloved classicist and some-time comedian, whose Radio 4 show Stand Up For The Classics has won her millions of fans. Her previous books, including Divine Might and Stone Blind regularly top the bestseller charts. In No Friend To This House she explodes the myth of Jason and Medea, telling the story from a new perspective with her characteristically vivid writing. Based on the classic tragedy by Euripides, this is Medea as you've never seen her before...

Good to know

• Please bring an image or print out of your ticket on the day. When you arrive at Mannington Hall, you'll enter the grounds through the gift shop, where you'll be asked to show your ticket. You'll be given a coloured wristband that will give you access to what you've bought.
• All events will start promptly at the advertised time. Please get to the tent with a few minutes to spare. That way, you won't be in a rush, and we'll be able to get everyone seated comfortably.
• All events will be suitable for people aged 12 and up, unless otherwise specified.
• Yes, all the speakers will have books for sale! And yes, you can get your copies signed!
