Monica Feria-Tinta

Pioneering barrister Monica Feria-Tinta advocates not only for people, but also for those who have no voice: for rivers, forests and endangered species. 

In A Barrister for the Earth, she takes us behind the scenes as she fights the destruction of cloud forests — arguing that not only should sovereign states account for their inaction, but that non-humans and landscapes have rights to be defended. Good to know

• Please bring an image or print out of your ticket on the day. When you arrive at Mannington Hall, you'll enter the grounds through the gift shop, where you'll be asked to show your ticket. You'll be given a coloured wristband that will give you access to what you've bought.
• All events will start promptly at the advertised time. Please get to the tent with a few minutes to spare. That way, you won't be in a rush, and we'll be able to get everyone seated comfortably.
• All events will be suitable for people aged 12 and up, unless otherwise specified.
• Yes, all the speakers will have books for sale! And yes, you can get your copies signed!
