Year 11 Celebration and Post Mock Revision Event

We understand that the past few weeks for both you and your child has been stressful having sat their very important mock examinations. As a result, we wanted to take this opportunity to highlight the excellent work and progress that the year group has undertaken during their mock exam period and provide you with subject specific information to support them moving forwards. Therefore, we would like to invite you and your child to a celebration presentation, followed by a session summarising the exam responses, on Thursday 14 December 2023, between 5.00pm and 6.30pm in the Main Hall.

The evening will be split into two parts. Firstly, we will be rewarding Year 11 students who have demonstrated outstanding attitude and performance over the mock exam period, which will give the best opportunity to reach their potential, gaining the maximum progress towards their examinations next summer.

The second part of the evening will be led by staff from our dedicated English, Science, Maths and Humanities teams, who will deliver a session each on common misconceptions that were apparent in the mock exams. This will not only support and develop the child’s understanding of the subjects but will give parents an insight into the depth and rigour used by our staff to support the learning needs of their students. We believe this knowledge will only enhance your ability to support your child when they are learning at home.
