What is the MedDent Network?

The MedDent Network is a national virtual medical society and non-profit dedicated to providing resources for aspiring medical and dental students.

Our resources include in-person and virtual work experience opportunities, UCAT notes, and personal statement examples found online.

While primarily focused on resource sharing, we are also launching a wider reading society, an opportunity for Year 12 and 13 students to research and present on key topics such as NHS structure, ethical scenarios, real medical cases and much more.

We recognise that the medical and dental application process can be challenging, especially for students without access to private support. Our aim is to help bridge the gap by offering accessible guidance, Q&A webinars and leadership opportunities that strengthen your application. Even if our impact is modest for now, we are committed to making a meaningful difference.

How can I get involved in this virtual society?
We have a variety of roles available, from wider reading ambassadors to society coordinators. Whether you're looking to take on a major role or contribute in a smaller way, keep an eye out for the application form in our society group chat.
