ABOUT THIS EVENT
Elizabeth and Dungse Jampal Norbu will speak on the unconventional methods of Lojong - or mind training teachings - that challenge the many assumptions we have about The Self.
Elizabeth’s teaching theme this year is “The Self: Walking the Middle Way Path.” She was inspired to invite her son to an Open Question Live conversation after listening to an episode of Jampal’s EveryBodhi Podcast.
“Through Lojong (also called Mind Training Practice), the very way we experience the world changes. When we endeavor to train the mind, it works on us in unexpected ways. At times, we might even feel physically different, ungrounded, less constrained, our sense of empathy too becomes more acute, even overwhelming, which is another new experience. It's certainly been the case for me that changes have been simultaneously revolutionary and difficult to describe." - Dungse Jampal Norbu.
