Modern North returns for its second celebration of 20th century design, bringing together the finest dealers from the North of England and Scotland under one roof. This carefully curated event will host up to 30 dealers, each offering an exceptional selection of mid-century, space age, Art Deco, Pop Art, post-modern, and brutalist furniture and interior pieces—many of which are rare and hard to find.

With our move to the larger Boiler Shop venue, we’re excited to expand the experience by showcasing contemporary designers whose work is inspired by iconic 20th century design. These hand-picked artisans excel in the local furniture and interior design scene, bringing fresh interpretations of classic styles alongside their own innovative creations.

Whether you’re a collector, interior designer, or design enthusiast, Modern North is your opportunity to explore, discover, and acquire remarkable pieces from the past and present—all in one place.

There will be food and refreshment available on the day with the venues own bar and we will have two local artisan food trucks so that you can browse and mull over your buying with  some tasty foods from local food creators.
