Join us for an inspiring event focused on the transformative power of storytelling. We’ll explore why stories matter, how they can build agency and hope, and how to create meaningful relationships in which those we support feel truly heard and genuinely understood. Bring your rich examples and insights to this interactive session, designed to spark dialogue, share experiences, and celebrate the joy of great practice.
This free hybrid event will take place simultaneously in 8 locations across Europe, all connected via Zoom. Please select the relevant free ticket, depending on which in-person event you would like to join. You will receive location-specific details in your confirmation email.
Please note that there is no online-only attendance option, because a central part of the event is to engage and learn with other people in the room. However, if none of these locations are near you, you can bring together a couple of colleagues or friends to run your own in-person mini-event. Simply select the 'SPDN self-hosting' ticket below, and we'll send you a facilitation pack nearer the time.
WHAT IS THE SPDN?
The Social Pedagogy Development Network and its free SPDN events are co-ordinated by ThemPra Social Pedagogy CIC in partnership with the Social Pedagogy Professional Association (UK) and the Global Alliance for Social Pedagogy. Traditionally, the SPDN has been an important forum for those interested in learning about social pedagogy across the UK, as our events bring together both practitioners involved with social pedagogy and professionals who are curious about how social pedagogy could benefit them, their organisation and the people they support. If you are interested in relationship-centred practice, storytelling and learning with others, you're welcome to join us. You can find out more about the Social Pedagogy Development Network and our underpinning vision here on our website.
To enable us to send you all relevant details about this event, we will share your registration information with the host organisation for the event you have selected, so that they know you are planning to come and can contact you about this event. To ensure you will receive any updates about this and any future social pedagogy events, we will also add you to our SPDN distribution list. By registering below, you agree to this. You are welcome to unsubscribe from the SPDN distribution list any time.
