Raindance Immersive Performance June 13

Welcome! 

We are very excited to share Symbiosis/\Dysbiosis performances at Raindance Immersive! 

For our remote performances, we invite you to pair with a performer wearing an EEG Device that sends their brainwaves into the virtual forest, along with real-time bioelectrical activity from living fungal mycelium. Working together with other players, you grow smaller and smaller until you eventually enter the Mycelium Network.

- IF you own a Muse EEG Device please check our Discord server channel Muse-Set-Up in advance of the show you booked.

Live actors embody forest guides that help you find your way, reminding you that everything is connected! Live soundscape performance with the fungi!

If you are not already No-Clipping through Resonite, you will need to register for a FREE account, which will run you through a tutorial. This Tutorial helps you better comprehend the Resonite Dash Menu and Radial Context Menu.

You will need a VR-ready PC with a compatible PC VR headset such as Valve Index, Quest 3 + Link / Quest 2 + Link, Rift/Rift S, or a Vive/Vive Pro/Vive Pro2. Download Resonite on Steam and create an account ahead of time, either here or in the game.

Please Note: The Symbiosis/Dysbiosis experience uses neither Resonite menus! You will enter our world in a custom avatar created for this experience.

Due to the nature of this experience & Resonite, there is not a Teleport locomotion option. Please note FBT Players: FBT breaks the experience. We kindly advise entering in a seated or standing position for your comfort. Otherwise, you might enter as a pretzel.

(On the day of the event, follow these steps:)

Step 1) Connect to Resonite at least 25-30 minutes before the event begins (in case of updates).

Step 2) 15 minutes before the event is about to begin, you will receive an invitation in your "Contacts" tab.

Step 3) Click the "Join" button to Join the world. The world may take a few minutes to load,  please be patient.

LATECOMERS will be given a TEN-MINUTE grace period before their ticket is given to a WAITLISTED ticket holder.

If tickets are sold out, you will be added to our WAITLIST

• Where do I download the software to experience Symbiosis/\Dysbiosis?

Symbiosis/\Dysbiosis runs on a Creative Social VR platform called Resonite. It's completely free and you can download it here:https://store.steampowered.com/app/2519830/Resonite/

• Is there a guide on how to get set up on Resonite for a Symbiosis/\Dysbiosis performance?

Yes! Read it here: Google Doc

Do I have to be in VR to experience Symbiosis/\Dysbiosis?

No! While VR is the recommended way to experience this environment, you can also join the experience via "Desktop Mode".  Simply select "Play in screen mode" when you start Resonite.
