Neurothentic Together - Learn, Play, Create
We're back at Hertfordshire House - Pelaw!
'Neurothentic Together' - every Tuesday from 12pm-2pm
This is a group for Neurodivergent children/young people and their adults to come together and connect with each other in a safe, accepting environment.
There will be opportunities to learn, play and create in a self-directed way with autonomy at the forefront.
The venue consists of a kitchen, foyer, main hall and community garden with growing areas. We have access to all of this and can use them as we see fit.
Each session will have a loose plan in the sense that we will bring some resources i.e cooking ingredients, board games, craft equipment, but the idea is that the children will choose what they are interested in and the group will form based around that.
We also plan to bring in other services to provide workshops and activities regularly.
Please note: these are not fully staffed sessions and parents are responsible for supervising their children's participation in activities.
Spaces are capped to 12 children to ensure accessibility and must be booked in advance. A block booking option is available to ensure your space is secured.
Whilst ticket costs will allow this group to continue once the funding runs out, affordability should not be a barrier to access these sessions so a free ticket option is included for those who require it, no questions asked.
